Center For Urban Families (CFUF) - www.cfuf.org - 2016 PRACTITIONERS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE SUMMIT - April 5,6,7 - Our sincerest thanks to the Center For Urban Families (CFUF) for inviting us to participate in their three-day, 2016 initiative, the Practitioners Leadership Initiative (PLI) Summit held at the Baltimore Harbor Hotel earlier this month (April). This was the 4th Annual PLI Summit and an invaluable source of information and contact exchange for associations and non-profit groups to enhance and expand their work for the poor and for families in need of all types of services.
Twenty-two of the many attendees came from 16 different States,
from Maryland to the West Coast, the Midwest and South, all of working to help
ease the affects of poverty in our country. The "Pre-Summit"
gave us direct communication with and guidance from the CFUF leaders in a
focused and intense "speed dating" style. The rest of the
Summit brought us great speakers involved in grant making, work-force
development, mentors, government agencies, data information and social media
platforms.
Check out the CFUF and their program Fatherhood 20/20. They
always need volunteers and interested participants. Thank you for the
Summit invitation and for all the work you do, CFCF, from the bottom of our hearts.
